Maintenance Technician - Industrial (2nd shift)

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing machinery
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and implement timely, effective solutions
• Safely operate and maintain tools, test equipment, and specialized machinery used in maintenance work
• Inspect equipment, complete work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

What You Bring

• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach to equipment issues
• Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset for working closely with production and other departments
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and support production demands on a busy 2nd shift

Schedule

• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Monday – Friday, working 1 weekend per month
• Onsite in Madison, WI, working directly with your team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

Compensation

• Hourly pay:$27.90 – $36.80, based on experience and skills
