Job Store Staffing is hiring an Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical) for a growing manufacturing company in Colorado Springs.
Pay: $22-27.25/hour
Location: South Colorado Springs, 80905
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping production running efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other production equipment
- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems, including 240V and 480V equipment
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Replace worn or defective machine components
- Operate maintenance equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and other specialized tools
- Help improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Trade school or technical training may be considered in place of experience
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with industrial electrical controls
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and digital maintenance systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance documentation
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where PPE is required, including:
- Safety glasses
- Lab coat
- Hairnet and beard cover (when applicable)
- Dust mask or respirator
- Hearing protection as needed
