Job Store Staffing is hiring an Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical) for a growing manufacturing company in Colorado Springs.
Pay: $22-27.25/hour
Location: South Colorado Springs, 80905
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping production running efficiently.
What You'll Do
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other production equipment
Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems, including 240V and 480V equipment
Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
Replace worn or defective machine components
Operate maintenance equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and other specialized tools
Help improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime
Follow all safety, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
Trade school or technical training may be considered in place of experience
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with industrial electrical controls
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and digital maintenance systems
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance documentation
Ability to pass a respirator fit test
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where PPE is required, including:
Safety glasses
Lab coat
Hairnet and beard cover (when applicable)
Dust mask or respirator
Hearing protection as needed
