As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at the YMCA Storer Camps, you'll be the cornerstone of our welcoming environment, ensuring every guest is greeted by a well-maintained facility. You'll collaborate closely with the Property Manager to uphold and enhance our camp properties, tackling a variety of exciting tasks that include everything from minor electrical work to painting and roofing. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment and grounds are in top-notch condition, adhering to safety standards while working on construction projects and repairs.

To thrive as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at YMCA Storer Camps, you'll need a diverse skill set and a hands-on approach. A minimum of 18 years old, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are essential, along with the ability to pass a background check. Ideally, you’ll bring at least three years of experience in facility maintenance, painting, or carpentry, showcasing your strong knowledge of building maintenance and repairs, including HVAC and plumbing systems. Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as minor electrical repairs, is crucial for success. You should also be comfortable working physically through various tasks—lifting 80-100 lbs., climbing ladders, and using machinery.
Being highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing good problem-solving abilities will ensure you tackle challenges effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills will also enhance your collaboration with team members and contribute to maintaining our high safety and operational standards.
