Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Facility Services team as a Maintenance Technician that is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant. Conducting under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs. This full-time position with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters?

Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a Maintenance Technician:

• Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
• Performs painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Schooling background and/or proven maintenance work history preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
