Maintenance Technician


Real Estate Investment firm is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support operations at a well-maintained manufactured housing community in Lancaster, PA. This role is critical in ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and visually appealing for residents. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and responsive, with experience handling a wide range of maintenance tasks and resident service requests.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance across the community
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing systems (water lines, valves, water heaters, fixtures)
  • Handle basic electrical troubleshooting (outlets, breakers, lighting)
  • Complete general home repairs (drywall, doors/windows, appliances)
  • Assist with home setups, skirting, steps, decks, and light carpentry
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal (landscaping, trash removal, snow coordination)
  • Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally
  • Identify issues proactively and escalate larger repairs as needed
  • Support capital projects and vendor coordination
  • Track work orders, materials, and completed tasks
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, construction, or facilities
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and basic electrical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with residents
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience in manufactured housing or multifamily is a plus
  • HVAC or electrical certifications are a plus
