Were seeking a motivated Maintenance Service Technician with experience in electrical and plumbing repairs who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality work, and brings a positive, high-energy attitude to the team each day.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems
• Complete service requests accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service to residents
• Assist with apartment turns, make-readies, and preventive maintenance projects
• Maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of community grounds and common areas
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, vendors, and team members regarding repairs and service updates
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed
• Work closely with the Service Manager and maintenance team to ensure community standards are consistently exceeded
• Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset while contributing to a positive community environment

Compensation & Incentives

• $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Base Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required (approximately every 4 weeks)
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What Well Expect from You

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with electrical and plumbing repairs
• Basic HVAC knowledge; EPA certification is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
• Active, valid drivers license and personal vehicle
• Must live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency response

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
