Maintenance Technician

City Wide Facility Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician, also known as a handyman, to perform commercial facility maintenance and repairs across our client sites in the Las Vegas valley. This is hands-on building maintenance work: preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service calls following OEM specs and checklists.

You will work across multiple commercial accounts, including a secured airport site that requires airport badging and background clearance (listed below). You will document all hours and parts in our computerized work-order (CMMS) system, and respond to on-call needs that include some nights and weekends. The role starts part-time and can grow to full-time as work order volume increases.

What your work covers:

• Preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to spec.
• Light electrical: bulb and cover replacement, basic fixture work.
• Plumbing: drains, clogs, grease traps, fountains, eye wash stations.
• Carpentry and finishes: carpet, tile, flooring, millwork, and counters.
• Locks, keys, fixtures, blinds, and minor appliance repairs.

Schedule and Hours:

This is an hourly role. At the airport, you will spend a minimum of two days per week on site, eight hours each day (16 dedicated hours), performing the regular preventive maintenance on their offices described above. The airport also generates on-call work, so hours vary week to week: some weeks may be 30-40 hours at the airport, while other weeks may be around 20 hours at the airport plus 10-20 hours at other sites. Outside of the 16 dedicated airport hours, the remaining hours are divided among roughly 30 other sites around town, which receive on-call service, preventive maintenance, and inspections. Some work is also done from time to time out of the City Wide office. The salary range listed is based on a 30-40 hour work week.

Requirements

What You Need:

• Hands-on commercial maintenance or handyman experience across multiple trades.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, Lock Out Tag Out, fall protection, and electrical safety.
• Comfort logging work in a computerized work-order or CMMS system.
• Reliable transportation and on-call availability, including nights and weekends.

Background and Clearance (required, airport-mandated):

• Pass AOA airport badging at Harry Reid International (LAS) before working on site.
• Pass a background check covering five years of employment history and references.
• Pass drug testing under an approved program.
• Speak, read, and write English for radio communication, work orders, and safety.

What Sets You Apart:
