Job Details
Position Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain three-phase motors, control panels, wiring systems, and industrial electrical components.
Troubleshoot PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
Diagnose electrical problems and identify root causes of equipment failures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Assist with installation and modification of electrical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical components.
Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Ensure electrical work is completed in accordance with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
Accurately document repairs, installations, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
Respond to equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
Participate in maintenance projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
Complete required company and job-specific training.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Perform additional maintenance and electrical responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
2-5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Technical certification, trade school training, or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
Experience working with three-phase motors and 480V systems.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and industrial safety practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/chemical plant environment with exposure to noise, heat, machinery, and industrial equipment.
Ability to safely utilize required PPE and follow all plant safety procedures.
