Northrop Grumman is currently seeking either a Maintenance Technician Level 3 or Maintenance Technician Level 4 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our ACCE Facility Clearfield, Utah location.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician Level 3 or 4 is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

The selected Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

Job Duties:

  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment
  • Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc.
  • Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position
  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
  • The position will follow a Rotating Night Shift (6pm-6am).

This requisition can be filled as either a level 3 Maintenance Technician or a level 4 Maintenance Technician.

Basic Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Level 3:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Ability to support a Night shift

Basic Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Level 4:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Ability to support a Night shift

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.) or Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program
  • Electrician: Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $104,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate''s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
