A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, facility maintenance, and preventative maintenance across its Livonia operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can troubleshoot CNC machinery, conventional machines, forklifts, and plant equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshoot and repair CNC and conventional production machines
Perform electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
Complete preventative maintenance on production machines and equipment
Maintain accurate records of repairs, PM activity, and equipment condition
Check and maintain hydraulic, lube, coolant, and concentration levels
Support inventory control for coolants, oils, and related maintenance supplies
Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and floor washers
Handle general building maintenance including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry work
Follow all safety procedures, rules, and plant requirements
What You Bring:
2+ years of experience repairing production machinery in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC equipment
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic schematics
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
Forklift maintenance and repair experience preferred
Ability to read technical manuals and equipment diagrams
Strong safety mindset and willingness to support facility needs as they come up
