Maintenance Technician | Local Travel | $25 - $30/hr

TradeWorX is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to support multiple facilities throughout the Pittsburgh area. This position requires a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong commercial electrical and plumbing experience, along with general carpentry and building maintenance skills. The technician will travel between facilities based on operational needs and participate in on-call assignments as required.

Pay & Overtime

• $25.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
• Overtime is expected
• On-call assignments may be required

Schedule

• 7: 00 AM–3: 30 PM
• Travel between facilities as operational needs require
• Must be available for on-call assignments 
• Company van equipped with GPS and company gas card provided
• Company vehicle is for work purposes during authorized work hours only

Job Duties

• Perform commercial facility maintenance and repairs across multiple locations
• Troubleshoot and complete commercial electrical maintenance and repairs
• Perform commercial plumbing repairs, including rebuilding flush valves and similar fixtures
• Complete lighting-related electrical work, including replacing or eliminating ballasts
• Perform general carpentry and building maintenance tasks
• Respond to maintenance needs at different facilities as assigned

Requirements

• Previous commercial building or facilities maintenance experience
• Strong hands-on commercial electrical and plumbing skills
• Ability to troubleshoot common facility maintenance problems
• Working knowledge of carpentry and general building maintenance
• Ability to travel between assigned facilities using the provided company vehicle
• Availability for overtime and on-call assignments
• Forklift certification is recommended but not required

The ideal candidate is a versatile commercial maintenance professional who can independently troubleshoot and complete day-to-day facility repairs. Strong electrical and plumbing skills are especially important. The right candidate should be comfortable moving between facilities, prioritizing changing maintenance needs, and handling a variety of building systems and repair assignments.
