Maintenance Technician

Quick Lube Service Technician (Entry-Level) – Melloy Ford

We’re looking for someone who wants to get into the automotive industry the right way—hands-on, in a fast-paced shop, learning from experienced technicians.

This role focuses on routine maintenance and vehicle inspections. If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and not afraid of getting your hands dirty, we’ll give you the tools and training to grow into a full technician role.

What You’ll Do

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
• Check and top off fluids (coolant, brake, transmission, etc.)
• Inspect tires, belts, filters, and basic components
• Complete multi-point inspections accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate findings to service advisors clearly and honestly

What We’re Looking For

• Some automotive experience is helpful, but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Team-oriented attitude (no lone wolves in a shop)
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Previous dealership or quick lube experience
• Automotive schooling or certifications
