As a Maintenance Technician you will assist in all our production departments, primarily the Extrusion department in repairing and maintaining all equipment necessary to achieve optimal production. You will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties including set-up, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and productive maintenance systems and processes. This includes both emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled and preventative maintenance repairs.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm
Starting pay: $27/hr and up, depending on experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance
Ability to use basic hand and power tools required for this position: wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press, and band saw
Good knowledge of state and local safety codes
Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issue
Possess basic computer skills. -Working knowledge and experience with MS Excel
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently, bilingual is a plus!
Reading, Writing, and Mathematical competency
Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements (understand basic tool use)
Capable of reading and understanding work instructions and safety documents.
Mechanically Inclined:
Operate the machines and observe them during production. If problems are detected, stop the process and make minor repairs or refer major problems to production leadership and/or maintenance.
Some knowledge up front on how to Use a voltmeter; check and replace fuses, motor starter, replays, pumps, motors, and AC-DC systems; and trouble shoot faulty electric circuits.
Basic preventative maintenance experience.
Perform routine machine maintenance
Follow all safety requirements for this position and all company safety guidelines

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
