LOCATION: Oak Lawn - Katy Trail
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Weekends as needed. On Call.
PAY RATE: $22 - $24

About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of a luxury condominium community. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role plays a key part in keeping common areas and residential units operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on skills who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality work.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
Assist with VRF/VRV HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
Familiarity with building systems such as VRF/VRV HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and life safety equipment.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and property operations best practices.
General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.
