Role Overview
Join the BMOC team at our student housing facilities. We are looking for askilled technician to maintain a safe, clean, and high-quality livingenvironment for our residents through proactive maintenance and rapidproblem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- General Repairs: Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Unit Turnovers: Prep apartments for new residents (cleaning, painting, minor repairs).
- Inspections: Conduct regular building and grounds checks for safety and maintenance needs.
- Service Requests: Respond promptly to resident and management work orders.
- Safety: Ensure full compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Records: Track all repairs and inspections via detailed maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training is a plus).
- Experience: Previous maintenance experience, ideally in residential or student housing.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
