One of our manufacturing clients is looking for Maintenance Technician at Madison, WI location for their facility
Shift - 2nd shift
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing, packaging, and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime
Maintain and service conveyors, mixers, fillers, and automated production equipment
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards, GMP, and sanitation requirements
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and PM documentation
Identify equipment issues proactively and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability
Follow all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial electrical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Familiarity with food safety regulations such as GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs independently
Basic understanding of PLCs and automated systems is an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support flexible shifts if required
