Job Summary We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across commercial properties. This role ensures that facilities remain safe, functional, and visually well-maintained by addressing work orders efficiently and delivering high quality workmanship. Responsibilities include general repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building systems and coordinating with Store Mangers and Project Managers accordingly. Clear and professional communication is a must.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
Reviewing, prioritizing, and completing assigned work orders within required timeframes (including NTE limits)
Perform on-site assessments to diagnose issues and determine repair solutions
Complete general repairs including drywall, painting, minor carpentry, flooring, and fixture replacement.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
At least 2 years of maintenance experience
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
Some overnight may be required
Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
