Maintenance Technician

Davis Staffing, Inc.is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to support public works operations throughout the community. This position is responsible for maintaining public streets, common areas, lighting infrastructure, and municipal property. Candidates must be willing to work in all weather conditions and participate in on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Qualifications Include:

• Previous experience in public works, municipal maintenance, construction, landscaping, or related field preferred.

• Valid CDL Class B License required; Class A CDL preferred.

• Experience operating power tools and heavy equipment.

• Ability to safely operate excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, boom trucks, and similar equipment.

• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Must be available for on-call assignments after 5:00 PM, weekends, and holidays.

• Must successfully complete an interview, drug screening, and physical examination.

• Must be willing to join Teamsters Local 700.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Mow and maintain common areas, public streets, and parking lots.

• Perform trimming, tree removal, and debris cleanup utilizing chainsaws and wood chippers.

• Operate heavy equipment to complete maintenance and repair projects.

• Patch potholes and assist with roadway repairs.

• Install, repair, and maintain public lighting and traffic signal systems.

• Perform snow removal and ice control operations on municipal streets and public properties.

• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operating conditions.

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and municipal regulations.

• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.

Job Detaisl Include:

• Full-time position.

• $60,193 per year.

• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

• Overtime opportunities available.

• On-call rotation required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
