Maintenance Technician Job Details

Monday– Thursday | 2:45pm - 11:15pm | $27-$34/hr

• Overtime possible and mandatory

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• Preferred willingness to train — no prior experience required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and shop machinery
• Ability to work in loud environments, extreme heat, and around moving mechanical parts
• Comfortable working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace housekeeping

About the Maintenance Technician Role

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
• Performing preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
• Repairing and replacing defective mechanical parts and components
• Installing, repairing, and modifying hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Operating shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, welders, and cutting torches
• Using hand tools and pneumatic tools to complete repairs and modifications
• Researching and locating parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance projects
• Assisting with inventory control and organization of maintenance parts
• Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation
• Operating forklifts and hydraulic work platforms as needed
• Supporting plant safety initiatives and following all safety, health, and environmental guidelines
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas throughout the facility
• Collaborating with team members to improve equipment reliability and plant uptime
• Responding quickly to maintenance issues to reduce production interruptions
• Completing additional duties as assigned by management
