What You'll Do
Operate, set up, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed coater lines
Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, maintenance, and wash-ups
Diagnose mechanical and quality issues and restore equipment to service quickly
Conduct and document quality checks and measurements
Work closely with quality inspectors to ensure product standards are met
Respond immediately to quality concerns and production issues
Use precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances up to .0010"
Maintain production, quality, efficiency, and maintenance records
Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity
Assist in training and mentoring team members
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to pass a mechanical skills assessment
Experience using:- Hand and power tools
Micrometers
Dial indicators
Vernier calipers
Precision measuring instruments and gauges
Ability to read and interpret:- Blueprints
Technical drawings
Equipment manuals
Specifications
Technical documentation
Ability to provide standard hand tools required for the job
Physical Requirements
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
