    Job Description:

    Super Steel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic steel fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in forklift repairs, machine maintenance, and plumbing.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other industrial equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
    • Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to identify defects and implement necessary repairs.
    • Assist in the setup and installation of new machines as needed.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of repairs performed.
    • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and safely.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
    • Participate in regular safety training sessions and meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting; plumbing experience preferred.
    • Experience with forklift repair and maintenance.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
