Maintenance Technician- Part Time

Messiah Community | Urbana, OH

National Church Residences is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician for our 36-unit senior apartment community in Urbana, Ohio.

Schedule: 20 hours/week | 8:00 AM-1:00 PM or 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Complete apartment unit turns and maintenance work orders.

• Perform repairs involving PTAC/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly.

• Maintain apartments, common areas, and building systems.

• Complete all work orders using an iPad, so strong technology skills are required.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community for residents.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of residential/apartment maintenance experience required.

• PTAC/HVAC experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.

• Unit-turn experience preferred.

• Comfortable using an iPad and electronic work order system.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

On-Call Requirement: This position requires availability for on-call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. - $60/month mobile phone allowance
