Minimum of five (5) years building maintenance experience. Black Seal Boilers License preferred or must obtain within first year of employment. Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs a wide variety of building maintenance tasks including but not limited too; inspections, preventative maintenance for all district equipment. Repairs and adjustments to the following: glass, door and window hardware, door closers, locks, hinges, ceilings, ceiling tiles, heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment repairs/replacement, new service, public address systems, flooring, desk repair, window blinds, carpentry, painting, flooring, etc.2. Take care of all district tools, materials and supplies3. Perform every task in a safe and efficient manner4. Assists in loading and unloading materials.5. Keeps the maintenance area clean and in safe working condition6. Clean up area where work in being performed.7. Assists in grounds and custodial tasks.8. Report any unsafe condition immediately to the supervisor.9. Execute all work orders and preventive maintenance work orders, promptly and efficiently.10. Ensure that all flammables are stored in proper cabinets and or containers.11. Snow removal12.
