Maintenance Technician

Overview

We need to fill a Maintenance Technician position in our Maintenance Department. We will consider seasoned technicians as well as young technicians with a solid education.

\n

Duties

\n

• \n
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems, conveyors, and equipment
• \n
• Repair plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages
• \n
• Address damaged electrical wiring and ensure electrical safety
• \n
• Implement preventative measures to reduce the risk of future issues
• \n
• Identify and fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries
• \n

Requirements

• \n
• Versatile technician with a broad skill set, capable of learning new tasks efficiently
• \n
• Flexible schedule and certain days
• \n
• Proficient with basic tools and mechanical tasks
• \n
• Basic mathematical skills
• \n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• \n
• Strong understanding of verbal and written instructions
• \n
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment
• \n
• Competence in working on simple motor controls and gearing
• \n
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• \n

Pay will be commensurate with experience and capability.
