The Maintenance Technician at EIG Services LLC is responsible for keeping our residential homes operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform various repair tasks for Several sites and work with the Fleet Manager on general vehicle maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance of company vehicles
• Work with contractors to ensure the timely completion of projects
• Troubleshooting and making routine repairs in the following areas: painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Asses and propose when to contact external contractors for repairs.
• Landscaping and Snow Removal
• Resolve and Complete work orders on time.
• Must have your essential tools
• Must be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work orders
• Other building maintenance items as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-year experience in a similar position required 
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle for company business.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems and determine when a contractor is needed. 
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
• Groundskeeping for location that contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents in a pleasant manner
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
