The Maintenance Technician at EIG Services LLC is responsible for keeping our residential homes operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform various repair tasks for Several sites. - Perform routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, facilities, and equipment.
- Complete minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
- Conduct basic electrical work, including replacing light fixtures, bulbs, switches, and outlets.
- Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry.
- Paint, patch, and finish surfaces as needed.
- Assemble, install, and move furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify repair needs.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including basic landscaping, snow removal, and debris cleanup.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and materials used.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Must have your essential tools
- Must be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work orders
- Other building maintenance items as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a similar position required
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle for company business.
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or general repairs.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
