Position Summary We are seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to support 4-5 assisted living communities in the eastern Twin Cities Metro. This role is ideal for a skilled, self-directed maintenance professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in preventative maintenance, and understands the importance of responsiveness in a senior care environment. You will be responsible for maintaining building systems, completing repairs, supporting inspections, and ensuring our communities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across multiple assisted living communitiesTroubleshoot and repair building systems including:Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systemsBoilers, water softeners, air conditioning unitsAppliances such as washers, dryers, and kitchen equipmentComplete general maintenance tasks including minor carpentry, drywall and plaster repair, painting, flooring repairs, and fixture replacementConduct building and grounds inspections; identify safety issues and maintenance needsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issuesCoordinate with leadership and vendors when specialized repairs are neededMaintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials usedUphold a high standard of professionalism, safety, and customer serviceInteract respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and staff Communities Supported This regional role supports four East Metro locations. Travel between communities is required; a company vehicle is provided. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building, apartment, or residential maintenance (multi-site experience preferred)Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systemsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple locationsStrong communication and customer service skillsCompassion and patience when working with older adultsMust meet Minnesota Department of Health requirements for working with vulnerable adults Why Join Suite Living?
