What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance experience (multifamily/apartment maintenance preferred)
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, or building systems
- EPA Certification preferred (Type II or Universal)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls/on-call rotation
- Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance service requests efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain buildings, common areas, grounds, and amenities
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (unit turns/make-readies)
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Respond to emergency repairs, including after-hours maintenance needs
- Maintain property safety standards and compliance requirements
- Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and inventory
