    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Bedford, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs.     Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs.
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment for events and operations.
    • Collaborate with other team members to improve facility operations.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work on-call or outside regular hours as needed.
