Maintenance Technician

Field Service Mechanic Packaging Lines - New Rochelle, NY

Perform installations, scheduled preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and related repairs to ensure packaging equipment operates efficiently for clients in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, dairy, personal care, and household product industries.
 
LOCAL TRAVEL -
 
• Install and upgrade packaging equipment including fillers, sealers, cappers, shrink wrappers, case erectors and sealers, labelers, coding systems, pallet wrappers, strapping systems, conveyors, etc.
 
• Complete preventative maintenance projects, repairs, and work orders at client locations.
 
• Read technical drawings, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting equipment.
 
• Perform maintenance on electrical controls, adjustable motor drives, conveyors, automatic stretch wrapping equipment, and switchgears.
 
• Troubleshoot and repair gear motors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
 
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
 
• Train client machine operators in basic preventative maintenance.
