Employment Type: Full-Time / On-Site

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 /hourly

Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Department. The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and routine upkeep throughout the school's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock repairs.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance.
• Install and repair equipment and appliances.
• Identify and address facility maintenance needs.
• Report completed and outstanding work to the Facilities Manager.
• Work alongside maintenance staff and outside contractors as needed.
• Respond to maintenance issues throughout the property.
• Maintain a safe and functional environment throughout the school facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience with carpentry, painting, and sheetrock.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance staff, management, and outside contractors.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk extensively throughout the school and its facilities.
• Must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to move throughout the property and respond to maintenance needs as they arise.
• Must be able to perform general physical maintenance duties throughout the workday.
