Maintenance Technician – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Are you someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping machinery running at its best? We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who can help maintain, repair, and improve our production equipment and facility.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of production equipment and facility systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting manufacturing and industrial equipment and performing necessary repairs.
• Installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and other related systems throughout production and supporting departments.
• Performing preventive maintenance inspections and servicing machinery to help minimize downtime.
• Identifying the causes of unexpected equipment breakdowns and taking appropriate corrective action.
• Recording and reporting damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Oil and lubricate moving machine parts to ensure safe and effective performance.
• Collaborating with Production Supervisors regarding new products, equipment modifications, and operational needs.
• Making necessary equipment modifications and performing test runs.
• Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Communicating technical issues and repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintaining maintenance shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies through cleaning, organizing, inventorying, and stocking.
• Maintaining a clean and organized maintenance shop and surrounding work areas.
• Following all established safety procedures and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Providing occasional custodial support as needed, including general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of facility areas.
• Performing other job-related duties throughout the facility as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge and ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequently bend, twist, pull, reach overhead, and work below the knees.
• Visually inspect equipment and read information that may include small print.
• Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects.
• Move, lift, load, and place equipment, merchandise, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
