COMPETITIVE PAY & BENEFITSBenefits Effective Day 1Med, Den, Vision, 401k (4% match), Annual Retirement Contribution (3%), Life & AD&DPaid VacationTuition Assistance ProgramFitness Reimbursement ProgramOpportunity for AdvancementSummary: Troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs plant production and support equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:Bends conduit, pulls wire, and hooks up equipmentMaintain machine and support equipment PMsPerforms other work-related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Group Leader.Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Qualifications: Trained in use and operation of electrical and hydraulic systems.Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college. Three years' experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills associated with the position.Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
