Overview:ADF International, a North American leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex steel structures and modular construction, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our steel fabrication plant in Great Falls, Montana. Knowledge of facilities maintenance, electrical circuits, machine functions, motor controls, and repair operations is preferred.

A nightshift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked past 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:
Performs the full scope of electrician duties regarding maintenance and repair of electrical infrastructure.
Inspects, tests, and diagnoses issues with electrical systems and components.
Diagnoses/replaces faulty components of various machines and equipment.
Supports the installation, troubleshooting, and/or repair of resources related to the facility and its operations.
Maintains facility support equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and other rolling stock.
Assists in testing equipment to locate defects and measure performance.
Determines the need for adjustments and verifies specified/proper operation.
Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment and electrical systems.
May be assigned to operate a variety of equipment, including forklift, overhead crane, gantry crane, loader, and various production equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance, electrical circuits, and machine functions.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Valid driver’s license.
Candidate must be punctual, reliable and have an attitude that demonstrates that they are willing to learn and take advice/suggestions from supervision and other team members.
Will be on call every 3rd or 4th weekend. Fri-Sun (Paid $100.00 plus hourly rate)
Physical Requirements
This position requires significant physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for extended periods as an essential part of the job.
Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time.
Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist.
Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools.
Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 75lbs.
Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.).
Able to ascend/descend on ladders as needed.
