Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to:
- Safely maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Support plant operations and collaborate across departments to improve equipment reliability, process efficiency, and plant automation.
- Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Read and interpret prints, schematics, and work instructions to complete maintenance activities safely and effectively.
- Operate tools and material handling equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical degree in an industrial maintenance-related field OR minimum two (2) years of Nucor OR equivalent industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance experience
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-craft industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems
- Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
