Maintenance Technician

Talento Search Group has an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Norfolk, Virginia area.  This is a direct-hire, 1st shift position and the pay range is $25 - $30 per hour (may be flexible), depending on experience.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• PM maintenance on facility and material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot/repair of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, chain driven, PLC troubleshooting, and refrigeration systems
• Ability read electrical schematics
• Ensure safety and product standards adherence
• Troubleshoot / repair various types of material handling equipment

Experience Needed:

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a logistics/warehouse or food manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge mechanically and electrically
• Experience with forklift operations and general repair
• Experience with ammonia & freon refrigeration systems a plus
