    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to help ensure that JourneyPure's facilities are safe, clean, and well-functioning for clients, staff, and visitors. This hands-on role performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support a positive, welcoming treatment environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform general maintenance duties including painting, electrical repair, wall repair, door and window replacement, lock replacement, telephone repair, and plumbing maintenance.

    • Handle all maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.

    • Maintain clean and safe facility grounds including lawn care, parking lots, driveways, trees, and shrubs.

    • Keep an ongoing list of department and facility maintenance needs and supplies.

    • Order and maintain an adequate supply of cleaning supplies, towels, linens, and toiletries.

    • Make monthly inspection reports to support quality assurance activities.

    • Assist the Facilities Manager with safety and disaster drills when requested.

    • Report any safety hazards, broken equipment, or significant maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager promptly.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

    • Experience in general building maintenance, repair, or a related trade preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.

    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

    • Valid driver's license preferred.

    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
