Brick City Metals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and facility systems in a metal manufacturing environment. This hands-on role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills to support safe, efficient operations and minimize downtime.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:
Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC diagnostic tools
Identify and resolve hydraulic issues including pressure loss, cylinder drift, pump failure, and valve malfunction
Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to vibration, misalignment, wear, and fatigue
Respond promptly to production breakdowns to minimize unplanned downtime
Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience in inspecting/maintaining equipment, electrical, plumbing, and other basic maintenance skills are required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperature conditions
Must be able to stand, crouch, kneel, and climb for extended periods
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required for precision work
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and maintain on-call availability to support 24/7 production operations
Strong commitment to safety and reliability
Local to Ocala, FL area or nearby
