Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Our client's primary goal is to save more lives. Their products never get a second chance, which is why they can never compromise on quality. They are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels, and you can be part of their team.

This position is located in Ogden, UT, a city known for its rich history, stunning mountain views, and a vibrant arts scene.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold quality standards.
• Support vendor coordination and monitor external work.
• Respond to urgent equipment issues during off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently enrolled or willing to enroll in the Automated Maintenance Mechanic (AMM) program at OWATC or Bridgerland. Applicants who have completed the AMM program will receive priority.
• Prior mechanical experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PLC logic, and Allen Bradley software.
• Ability to read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment.
• Flexible to work in varying conditions and shifts.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety standards.
