Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance on old and new machines, plus maintenance of pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read electrical diagram for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with p.m. programs (identify, documentation, procedures).
- Able to work in cold or hot conditions while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to take instruction with a can do attitude, but willing to ask questions as needed.
Qualification & Education Requirements:
- Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience - Relevant or similar experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Analytical Skills - Ability to read a plan and have the mental acuity to discern the proper procedure to follow for each unit.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work safely, follow all safety rules and lead by example.
- Must be able to maintain good and regular attendance.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime.
Further Requirements:
- Knowledge of Control systems.
- Electrical experience.
- Ability to weld.
- Knowledge of different gases for welding/air compressors/cooling systems.
- Works well with others.
