Our client, a commercial bakery manufacturer, is looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a high-performing bakery production team. In this role, you won’t just fix equipment—you’ll be a critical part of keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. Job Description:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed bakery production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues with a focus on minimizing downtime
- Execute and improve preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reliability
- Respond to breakdowns with urgency and precision to keep production on track
- Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activity with accuracy
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all plant standards and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency and reduce recurring issues
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance (food manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills—you know how to find the root cause, not just the symptom
- Working knowledge of systems such as:
- PLCs
- Electrical controls
- HVAC or refrigeration
- Boilers
- Welding/fabrication
(any of these is a plus—not all required)
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of your work
- Comfortable in a physical role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, reaching)

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $25-35.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
