Maintenance Technician Overnight Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Band: 300 FLSA: Non-Exempt Reports to: Maintenance Manager Department: Maintenance Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. Overnight shift works Monday - Thursday 8PM - 6:30AM. There may be occasional overtime on Fridays. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in facility. Plans repair work using blueprints or equipment manual as needed. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Performs the maintenance (predictive and preventative) of equipment and processes in support of the company’s production and growth objectives. Responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks and completing associated documentation in a timely manner. Performs work and assists in maintaining operations in compliance with applicable policies and OSHA regulations Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. Train production operators on the safe operation and minor maintenance of plant equipment. Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
