Maintenance Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Oxnard, California for a 6-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports facilities operations by helping construct and support a thermal chamber for a new program. The role requires hands-on building experience, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and support project execution.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Experience reading and using engineering drawings
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Collaboration and verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Skills

• Ability to be on call during critical project phases
• Experience constructing thermal chambers or similar structures

What You’ll Do

• Construct a thermal chamber for a new program
• Interpret engineering drawings for dimensions, positioning, and related build requirements
• Work with a cross-functional team to gather information and troubleshoot as needed
• Support facilities-related project work in a manufacturing environment

Pay

• $33.96/hour
