Maintenance Technician
Shift Varies - Approx 10 hours a week during the hours of Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM
Salary 22.00hr
Location Appleton WI
Job Duties
Ensures timely completion 48 hours of all assigned work orders.
Assess diagnose and complete repairs on equipment such as imops vacuums sweepers or scrubbers.
Use of hand and power tools on a regular basis wrenches screwdrivers drills etc.
Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of equipment and building.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
General knowledge of components and pumps vacuumssweepers
Ability to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues with machinery
Knowledge of wiring controls and automatic systems
Ability to identify diagnose and correct the damaged equipment
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and gauges
Knowledge of battery-operated machinery
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
Experience in building maintenance such as small drywall repairs fixtures and painting Preferred
Safety
Follows all company safety policies and local state and federal regulations.
Understand how to safely operate and maintain equipment Inspects equipment before each use uses personal protective equipment when necessary.
RequirementsQualifications
2-years work experience in similar type role.
Must be able to work on call
You must be 18 years old.
For safety reasons you must be able to speak English.
Ability to lift including over your head up to 50 pounds frequently or if more than 50 pounds with lift assistance.
You must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
Good driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
