Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will assist with preventative maintenance on all production and packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They will work with Maintenance Team, QA Team, and Plant Manager to ensure facility and equipment are serviced and available with least amount of downtime

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production and packaging equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

* Diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and complete both scheduled and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime

* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance and repairs

* Maintain maintenance records, tools, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition while supporting equipment setup and changeovers



Required Skills & Experience:

* Must have relevant working experience in a packaging/processing equipment within the food or industrial industries

* Must have electrical troubleshooting knowledge on multiple voltages and can read electrical prints

* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 11pm

* Knowledge of GMPs

Preferred Skills & Experience:

* High school diploma or GED is preferred
