Maintenance Technician

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our foundry client to start immediately at $25-$36/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, performs entry- to mid-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical foundry equipment. Work follows diagrams, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and management direction. Provides basic facility maintenance support such as building repairs, groundskeeping, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC upkeep. Tasks are typically performed with guidance from a senior technician or supervisor.

  • Perform both self-directed and assigned maintenance activities, including troubleshooting machinery to determine root causes of failure.

  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment; replace defective parts; and adjust controls to restore proper function.

  • Inspect components for wear or damage and test circuits, systems, and assemblies to ensure safe, efficient operation.

  • Complete minor fabrication tasks, including welding and cutting.

  • Order required materials and replacement parts as needed.

  • Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions, collaborating with the plant engineer as part of proactive maintenance efforts.

  • Install electrical wiring, assemble and repair control panels, and ensure compliance with NFPA and NEC electrical standards.

  • Support general facility upkeep across electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC systems to maintain internal and external building conditions.

  • Assist production personnel and machine operators to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency.

  • Operate or set up machining tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, welding units, and other metalworking machinery for part fabrication or repair.

**Location: **Pewaukee, WI

Schedule/Shift Details: 3rd shift: 8PM-6:15AM Monday-Thursday

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift.
  • Overtime on Friday nights as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education plus 5+ years of maintenance experience, or a technical degree in a related field.

  • Foundry experience strongly preferred; heavy industrial experience acceptable.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including installation manuals, schematics, and operating procedures in English.

  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to site policies and procedures.

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in manufacturing environments.

  • Skilled in preventive and corrective maintenance within a high-volume production setting.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and piping schematics.

  • Metal fabrication skills including MIG/TIG welding, arc gouging, and cutting methods.

  • Familiarity with researching and interpreting parts lists, blueprints, schematics, and technical references.

  • PLC troubleshooting ability with basic programming knowledge.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with facility systems such as HVAC, welding, cutting, and pipe fitting.

  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and dial indicators.

  • Competent with shop tools including drill presses, sanders, grinders, mills, lathes, welding gear, cranes, and forklifts.

  • Knowledge of industrial air compressor systems and distribution networks.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
