Career Concepts is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is responsible for completing general repairs, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and maintenance requests across residential and commercial properties. This role requires travel between properties throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Respond to maintenance and repair requests efficiently and with strong attention to workmanship.
Prepare apartments for new residents by completing turnover repairs and improvements.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep properties operating smoothly.
Identify larger or recurring maintenance issues and communicate them to the team.
Complete general repairs including painting, plastering, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, and basic renovation tasks.
Hang doors and cabinets and install vinyl floor tile as needed.
Use hand tools, maintenance equipment, and smartphone applications to complete and log work orders.
Travel between properties throughout the Pittsburgh area as needed.
Property management maintenance experience required.
Basic skills in painting, plastering, and general repairs.
Experience with minor plumbing and electrical work, or willingness to learn.
Ability to hang doors and cabinets and install vinyl floor tile.
Comfort using hand tools, maintenance equipment, and smartphone applications.
General home renovation or construction experience is a plus.
Dependable, motivated, and able to work with attention to detail.
Ability to commute to Pittsburgh, PA and travel between properties as needed.
Full Time
$26/hr or based on experience
1st Shift 7am - 3pm
