CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Plainsboro, NJ, supporting a six-building campus for a global leader in the fragrance and taste industry.
This role is ideal for a mid-career technician who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting complex HVAC and mechanical systems, and taking ownership of building performance. You'll be responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and general building systems in a professional, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do:
Perform routine and preventive HVAC system maintenance, diagnose operational issues, and complete repairs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Conduct inspections, identify potential system failures, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs following established procedures.
Follow scheduled PM tasks across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
Document work through CMMS/work order systems and ensure timely completion.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

is or $28.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is
$32.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate
will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
