Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced industrial laundry operation in Tulsa. This second-shift position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and completing repairs that keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in industrial maintenance, and enjoys solving equipment problems in a production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous industrial mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Basic electrical, plumbing, and electronic repair knowledge
Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and data entry
Self-motivated with strong accountability and flexibility
High school diploma, GED, or technical certification preferred
High Pressure Boiler License preferred
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial laundry equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and electronic equipment
Complete facility maintenance projects, including painting and minor construction tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using computer systems
Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs
Follow all company safety policies, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and maintenance standards
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or commercial laundry operations
Technical certification in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems
High Pressure Boiler License
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial troubleshooting
Physical Requirements
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs
Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment, noise, vibration, fumes, and varying temperatures
Ability to safely perform maintenance duties while wearing required PPE
