Amplitude HR is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading automotive plastic injection molding manufacturer in Port Huron, MI. We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing injection molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Set up and maintain preventive maintenance schedules using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Create, update, and complete maintenance work orders accurately.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and communicate with equipment manufacturers when necessary.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacement components as needed.
• Assist with machine installations, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
• Support robotics and automation equipment maintenance.
• Work closely with production and management to schedule maintenance activities while minimizing downtime.
• Travel occasionally to assist with equipment installations or support other facilities when needed.
• Assist with quality-related activities such as inspections, sorting, and production support when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with plastic injection molding equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of:
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Auxiliary processing equipment
• Experience with robotics and automation is preferred.
• Comfortable using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around machinery, dust, fumes, and manufacturing equipment.
• Safety glasses and other required PPE must be worn.
